About the book: Mastering the Tables of Time uniquely combines the foundations of rhythm and the foundations of trapset drumming using a common system to assimilate the disciplines of timekeeping, coordication, rudiments, polyrhythms, and music phrasing.

The table of time provides an inclusive framework for combining these exclusive areas of study to benefit players of any skill level, be it beginner, intermediate, or advanced, with an interest in developing a stronger foundation for their performance with improved confidence, conviction, and freedom of expression in any musical direction.

Volume I: Introducing the Standard Timetable is a virtual reference library on rhythm and trapset drumming as it was originally conceived in the USA, combining European rudiments, African polyrhythms, 4-was coordination, jazz and backbeat grooves, and soling vocabulary to create a new souind in music. These concepts will advance further as the focus goes global with the introduction of the World Timetable in Volume II of Mastering the Tables of Time.

David Stanoch has an eclectic backgroiund of experience performing with Sheryl Crow, Richard Davis, Herb Ellis and many others. He juggles live and studio band projects including the trio TRIPLICATE, described by DRUM! magazine as "so good that it's intimidating."

David has studied with Max Roach, Alan Dawson, Richard Davis, Elliot Fine, Jeff Hamilton, Ignacia Berroa, and Chad Wackerman. A faculty member of the McNally Smith College of Music since 1990, David is also a contributing author to Modern Drummer, Drummer (UK), and PAS/MN magazines.
